Special Pass (Overstay)
A Special Pass is a temporary permit granted by the Immigration Department to foreign nationals facing 'special' circumstances, such as illness, accidents, or conflicts in their home countries, which necessitate an extension of their stay in Malaysia. To obtain a Special Pass, foreign nationals must submit an application to the Immigration Department before their current pass expires. These applications must be accompanied by the appropriate supporting documentation to be considered for approval.
